From Wiki Against Mines
To create an account have three steps:
1. Select "login" from the upper menue and then click "create an account" Fill in your login name, password (twice), your e-mail adress and, optional, your real name. Click on the "Create account" button. --> You are welcomed.
2. You will get an e-mail immedietly automatically authenticate your e-mail adress. Wait for the e-mail address conformation e-mail, where you have to click to the conformation link in it. --> It opens a special wiki page with the message that your e-mail address has now been confirmed.
3. Click on the preferences link in the upper menue. Select you preferences in the different register cards and store them.
To become an author
Click to your name at the upper menue. Ist opens the page User:<yourName>. Describe yourself: Why it should be worthy for our aims to trust and include you in the author group. Feel free, thinking about the great scope of our wiki, and that you have some experiences or knowledge helping people in landmined areas to help themselve, or to help in providing related projects. We will welcome you all, but reject spamming and damaging - that is in our responsibility.

Completing your introduction, send an e-mail to the administration with your user page link.
Find out the e-mail links to the aministrators/sysops.
To become a member
If you are involved in our projects you should have access to the internal area? Please send an e-mail to the administrators/sysops with your link to your user page, that we can recognize you and include you into the member group.
You are welcome!
Usually we know you from our project communication and include you automatically, as you have prepared an user account (see above).
